The Buchla Music Easel iProgram Bundle includes the iconic Music Easel and the iProgram Preset Manager Card. Don Buchlas Music Easel is an iconic piece of synthesizer history, a quaint suitcase synth that was designed to provide the sound of a Buchla Additive modular system for musicians on the go. Comprised of a 208 stored program source and a LEM218 touchplate keyboard, housed in a simple, rugged suitcase, the Easel is the perfect tool for creating abstract soundscapes, rhythms and textures. The Easel has a semi modular architecture, here it has a defined (normalized) signal path, which can be broken and re-wired using the included banana jack cables. Patches can be made and saved using the included iProgram card. Included in the iProgram bundle, is the iProgram Card. A 208 expansion format card, which slides into the expansion slot on the 208 and gives you the ability to create presets using the Buchla Easel Remote Control app on your iPad. The card connects to your wireless network along with your iPad, and from there you can create, save and recall presets into the Music Easel with ease (l).
