The Soundtoys Decapitator 5 is a powerful analog saturator and compression plugin designed to shape and improve your sounds. Whether you need to add some spice to a drum break or create some in-your-face distortion for a synth lead, the Decapitator can do it all!

Analog gear is renowned for its warm and punchy tonal character and the Decapitator is no exception to the rule. Basing its design on classic analog saturators, the plugin recreates the sound and feel of vintage components such as tubes, wires and transistors. Capturing the very essence of analog sound, the Decapitator is a must-have for any music producer or audio engineer.

The simple yet intuitive interface features five varied saturation modes, each with its own distinct flavour so you can experiment with your sound at the touch of a button. The modelled tone control allows you to shape your sound alongside the high-cut/low-cut filter. Crank it to eleven using the 'Punish# button to push the analog saturation to its limit for powerful results.
