The Nugen Audio ISL DSP HDX extension is an extension module for owners of the standard ISL that offers Avid HDX hardware compatibility. The Nugen Audio ISL is a precision True Peak limiter based on automatic processes that take care of True Peak compliance while you get on with audio production. Presented in a DSP extension format ISL 2 DSP is compatible with Avid HDX hardware. Utilising standardised True Peak algorithms of ITU-R B.S. 1770 and related standards, ISL is suitable in post-production, mastering, and broadcast applications. ISL supports surround compatibility up to 7.1.2 for Post & Movie production.

Breaking the mould of traditional limiters, ISL offers a unique TPlim control which automatically adjusts transfer curve parameters in real-time for brick-wall protection that retains the quality of your audio. At the first sign of low-frequency content, auto-release dynamically adapts to prevent distortions and deliver crystal-clear audio.
