A-138s is a simple but useful 4-in-2 mixing tool. It has four inputs available. Each input has an attenuator (Level) and a panning control that is used to distribute the signal to the left and right outputs. In addition to stereo mixing, it is equally suitable for creating variable parallel paths. For example: any one of the four inputs can be routed at variable intensity to feed two filters. You can consider the A-138s as a smaller version of the A-138m Matrix Mixer. The inputs and outputs are DC coupled, that is, the module can also be used for mixing control signals.
