Stereo Imager Plug-In - Upgrade from Stereoplacer Elements

  • Parametric balancing controller
  • Tune specific frequencies throughout the stereo image
  • Choose from a range of fully adjustable curves
  • Keep low frequencies centre whilst panning higher frequencies
  • Pull stray low frequencies back into the centre without affecting the rest of your mix

The Nugen Stereoplacer is an advanced fine-tune parametric balancing controller offering frequency-specific panoramic placement. Tune a selection of bands into specific frequencies and adjust frequency content throughout the stereo image. Choose any frequencies and move them anywhere, leaving the rest of the stereo image untouched. Stereoplacer gives you precise control over your stereo image you can't find elsewhere.

Offering a range of fully adjustable curves, choose from bell, high, low shelving, and additional linked-harmonic overtones. Stereoizer lets you redistribute stereo information subtly, or explicitly for powerful corrections, and is even capable of moving hard-panned frequencies from one side to the other without affecting the level balance of the source material. Each node can receive additional harmonically linked bell curves, all referenced from the one root control point for simple, consistent, and precise flexibility.

Using Stereoplacer, low frequencies are kept centre whilst higher frequencies are moved across the stereo field with a shelving band. When a mix calls for bass to be panned away from the centre, Stereoplacer achieves this without the problems off-centre high energy in the low frequencies can create. Stereoplace is also capable of achieving the opposite effect, pulling low frequencies back into the centre without affecting the rest of your mix.
