Korg Wavestate Module is the desktop version, which can also be mounted on 19" racks, of the latest MKII hardware release of the synthesizer of the same name. Same features and functions in a compact design, with 120 voices of polyphony.

In 2020, the acclaimed Wavestate took the Wave Sequencing 2.0 and Vector synthesis combo to the next level.

Featuring a radically revamped waveform sequencer, the Wavestate delivers amazing, ever-changing sounds with highly detailed manual control.

Far from a trite nostalgic reissue of the Wavestation, the Wavestate has been redesigned from the ground up for a new generation of musicians, producers and composers, taking cues from sources as diverse as modular synthesizers, groove boxes and algorithmic composition.

Taking full advantage of a new chassis design and new hardware processor, the Wavestate module offers an impressive polyphony of 120 stereo voices. The new hardware has a footprint of 4 rack units, the same controls as the keyboard models, but is easily transportable and fits seamlessly into any studio production system, console or live setup.

Listening to user requests, all LFOs have also been updated with options for free operation, delayed start and retriggering, new modulation sources added, and more. The Wavestate module is fully compatible with sounds and samples from the original Wavestate, Wavestate mk II, Wavestate SE, and native Wavestate software, as well as the many third-party libraries marketed online.

With the latest software updates, all Wavestate models, hardware and software, now support MIDI 2.0 Property Exchange. Hundreds of the original factory sounds have been updated to include modulation via Polyphonic Aftertouch (including Channel Aftertouch).

All this makes the Wavestate module a perfect companion for Korg's Keystage controller. The Wavestate module is intelligently designed for both desktop and rack (4-unit) use. The dashboard has been redesigned to fit a standard 19" width, while the rear socket panel has been recessed to allow easy access to cables.

Many musicians have requested a modular version of the Wavestate, and now that components are available again after a long period of supply chain disruptions, Korg is overjoyed to make their request a reality.
