KingKORG NEO is a powerful digital synthesizer, a reissue of the popular KingKORG, compact in size with a standard 37-key keyboard. It possesses a high-performance sound engine capable of producing captivating Virtual Analog, Digital DWGS, and PCM timbres.

The extensive synthesis possibilities are also supported by a versatile multi-mode filter and an articulate DSP section with 3 Effects Slots. KingKORG NEO also includes a Vocoder with supplied microphone, which generates the most iconic sounds of this device. Its user interface is based on an Analog Style control panel with direct access to parameter control, ideal for Live use.

KingKORG NEO is based on the proprietary XTM eXpanded Modeling Technology sound generation system, which is timbrally versatile yet simple to use. No longer do laborious oscillator adjustments need to be made to create sound, KingKORG NEO simplifies this process with preset algorithms, carefully designed combinations with various types of oscillators that allow you to quickly and easily create sounds right out of the box.In fact, KingKORG NEO can generate classic analog waveforms such as: sawtooth, square wave, noise, or digital spectra of both DWGS and PCM to meet various artistic and musical needs.

The KingKORG NEO filter collection includes a wide range of analog modeling filters essential for shaping sounds with precision and ease. Filters from iconic 1970s analog synthesizers have been carefully recreated, including their Auto-Oscillation capability, such as those of KORG's legendary MS-20 or other popular 1980s Synths, which are indispensable elements for creating punchy Lead sounds and deep bass.

Vocoder Magic

KingKORG NEO has a balanced XLR input on the front panel and comes with a quality Goose Neck microphone to launch you immediately into the world of Vocoding. Central unit of thisro Vocoder is a sophisticated 16-band filter that enables the creation of sounds typical of this module. Thanks to the Formant Shift function, it is possible to shift the frequency of the filter by adjusting the level and pan of each band. KingKORG NEO's B-Timbre can also be used as a modulator as an alternative to the microphone allowing the Vocoder to blend with the timbres and opening the way for new sonic explorations.Finally, each of the three oscillators, of timbres A and B, can be individually selected as a source for the microphone input, allowing you to create a rich mix between voice and instrument an innovative and captivating timbral fusion. KingKORG NEO's versatile Vocoder easily adapts to genre and artistic style: vintage or contemporary always generating distinctive and original sounds.

The Effects of KingKORG NEO

KingKORG NEO can process timbres generated with three Master Effects Slots, each of which offers six distinct types of effects.PRE FX provides effects such as distortion and amp simulator. MOD FX generates classic modulation effects such as phaser, chorus and tremolo. REV/DELAY adds ambience and delay to each timbre. Selection and adjustment of effects is facilitated by dedicated knobs located on each Slot on the front panel.

KingKORG NEO's Virtual Patches.

This feature updates the possibilities offered by the structure of vintage analog semi-modular synthesizers such as the MS-20 to link together the various synthesis modules from which they were composed.KingKORG NEO's innovative Virtual Patch system allows you to virtually link control signals such as EGs, LFOs or joystick movements to various sound parameters including Pitch and Cut Off. This integration enables the creation of complex modulation paths and in-depth exploration in sound modeling, adding a new dimension to your music.

KingKORG NEO's Step Arpeggiator.

The KingKORG NEO has a versatile Step Arpeggiator, a module that can bring vitality and dynamics to performances by automatically generating arpeggio phrases based on the notes played. There are among 6 different types of arpeggios available, and you can determine the duration, extension and on/off state of each Step, with a wide range of rhythmic possibilities.

Facilitated Control

The KingKORG NEO is designed with an original Panel Layout that combines the classic structure of analog synthesizers with the best of today's technology. The Layout is organized in blocks to best optimize workflow, with logical placement of controls so that the right one is immediately at hand. The oscillator section has a dedicated display that shows the name of the current algorithm. You can navigate through the various options and categories by simply turning the associated Dial. The knobs are strategically placed to adjust the most significant parameters of each oscillator, returning the tactile sensation of shaping the sound in real time. KingKORG NEO provides dedicated Dials for each of the three main effects, this configuration makes it easy to experiment with and impact the sound of the different effects, while the backlit EL display allows visual control of the data in all light conditions.

Preset Program and Favorites

KingKORG NEO arrives pre-stocked with an extensive library of 200 ready-to-use Program Presets, made with the modern Producer's timbral needs in mind, the library is divided into 8 categories such as SYNTH, LEAD and BASS that are easy to select thanks to dedicated buttons, so you always have the right sound under your hands quickly and efficiently. Program selection is complemented by the Favorite function, which allows selection and recall of the sounds used most often. Up to 40 Programs can be assigned to the 8 dedicated keys so you always have the timbres you need at your fingertips.
