Cranborne Audio introduces the Carnaby 500 Harmonic Eq

Carnaby 500 is a 3 bands semi-parametric equalizer for 500 series by Cranborne Audio with a couple of interesting innovative features. Carnaby 500 is the first Harmonic EQ™ in the world.

It is an analog equalizer that uses saturation to increase or reduce (following the gain position) the harmonic content on the three frequency bands.

This allows the user to improve the sounds while tracking as well as the stems and full mix with an authentic analog saturation while remaining user friendly just like a normal equalizer.

Carnaby 500 includes three interactive Harmonic EQ™ bands.

Each band allows for 10 dB boost/cut with overlapping bands with the harmonic content that is specific for any given band.

Differently from other equalizers, Carnaby 500 has a very dynamic response with the harmonic content that increases with the gain.

Two additional level controls for Input and Output levels provide further ±20dB of gain to increase the circuit drive if needed.

Optosync is the innovative wireless (optical) sync feature that allows two or more Carnaby 500 to synchronize to the first one with no wire connection.
