The Soundtoys Crystallizer is an advanced granular echo effect plugin that can be used to create a variety of sonic changes. Basing its design on an H3000-style effects processor, the Crystallizer allows you to create vintage-style crystal echo effects, boasting a unique tonal character that can be used on a variety of audio sources.

Championed in the late 80s, the Crystal Echoes effect became a staple in 80s pop music, revered for its ability to transform simple sounds into shimmering, epic soundscapes. Its unique texture and versatility make it a must-have for any musician or audio engineer’s collection. It is also used in modern music production, popularised in indie rock and vaporwave.

The founders of Soundtoys' help to design the algorithms for the original effects processor, and you can rest assured they have meticulously recreated the classic sound in all its glory. Whilst staying true to the original, the Crystallizer improves on the original design providing an integrated Gate and Duck function, providing added control when triggering echoes and more. It also features high/low-cut filters so you can sculpt your sound even further.
