Halo can show an intuitive energy distribution of the upmixed panorama, with colour to indicate the speaker source for audio in any position, clearly orienting you within the stereo field and indicating cases including phantom vs hard centre predominance.

Because Halo operates on the generation of a coherent spatial sound, it is equally capable of producing a high-quality downmix. Utilise the 'exact' mode function to ensure high-quality downmix performance in situations that require the relationship between the original, upmixed and downmixed versions to be maintained.
