Easy to use and carry, with a 37-key mini keyboard, microKORG 2 White is equipped with a new analog physical modeling sound engine of great timbral impact, with 8-voice polyphony, while the sound library has been reprogrammed in line with modern musical needs. microKORG 2 White also integrates an advanced Vocal Processor equipped with a condenser microphone, capable of producing: Vocoder, Hard Tune, Harmonizer, all processed by modulation, Delay and Reverb effects.
An Arpeggiator and a very useful Loop Recorder complete the panorama of its operational possibilities.

Used in countless performances and historical recordings its influence has lasted for more than 20 years. Beloved by musicians, sound engineers and producers microKORG now evolves to the next level with the new microKORG 2 White. This new model retains all the most characteristic aspects of the original such as its compact size, ease of transport, mini keyboard, Dial for Program selection, and Vocoder with dedicated microphone.
Instead, it offers many decidedly innovative aspects such as a new high-performance sound engine, an updated Sound Library with modern and impactful sounds, a user interface based on a bright 2.8'' color IPS LCD display that makes navigation even easier and more intuitive, combined with a powerful new Vocal Processor with 4-voice Harmonizer, Hard-Tuning, Vocoder, and finally a Loop Recorder that makes the instrument perfect for today's diverse world of music production.
microKORG 2 White has a completely new analog physical modeling sound engine that expresses remarkable performance in terms of sound quality and dynamics.
Lacking the restrictions typical of hardware synths, this instrument allows, despite its simplicity of use, an advanced level of sound design, thanks, for example, to Virtual Patches that provide pre-set modulation paths that are effective yet simple to use; all under the control of the new Display and its graphical interface that always clearly and accurately displays every operation performed on the panel.
The sounds in microKORG 2 White's internal library have been completely reprogrammed to offer a wide range of timbral choices: from the more "Fat" and piercing traditional sounds of analog synths to the more modern, futuristic and cinematic sounds to meet all the needs of the modern musician and producer.
The control panel is now equipped with a high-brightness 2.8'' color display, while 5 editing knobs are assigned to as many animated icons on the display itself, giving back the feeling of physically shaping each sound.
The display, moreover, can instantly transform into a very useful oscilloscope that graphically displays the result of each completed operation. microKORG 2 White expands the possibilities of the practical and intuitive sound selection system introduced with microKORG. A dedicated Dial selects the music genre: Pop/Rock, Funk/Soul, HipHop/R&B etc. or the general style: Classic, Moder, Future or User, while 8 dedicated buttons recall the Programs within them.
One of the most interesting aspects of the original microKORG was related to its easy-to-use internal Vocoder, supplied with a dedicated microphone and capable of producing the most characteristic sounds of this module. microKORG 2 White now has a new Vocal Processor that is much better performing.
In fact, in addition to the Vocoder this Vocal Processor can generate Hard Tune correction effects essential for example of Trap music, or operate as a 4-part vocal harmonizer, with the possibility in addition to further process the result with reverb and delay effects.
Also on microKORG 2 White the goose neck microphone is supplied to propel you into memorable vocal performances right away!
microKORG 2 White is equipped with Loop Recorder, a device that allows you to create backing tracks by cyclically overdubbing musical parts. Thanks to this feature, therefore, microKORG 2 White also becomes ideal for Live Performance.
The Loop Recorder is simple to use is controlled by dedicated buttons on the panel: Record, Play/Stop and Undo/Redo, the recording and playback settings can be easily changed in the easily accessible dedicated menus. The Loop Recorder makes microKORG 2 White the ideal partner for expressing your musical creativity by allowing you to produce music virtually anywhere.
Of course, microKORG would not be complete without its easy-to-use and highly effective built-in arpeggiator, Loop Recorder and arpeggiator can be used simultaneously to create dense and musically engaging melodic rhythmic Layers.
Korg has specially developed three sets of high-quality effects for microKORG 2 White, including nine new types of modulation (with dynamic effects), six types of delay and reverb. The three sets of effects can be turned on/off independently, and the wet/dry ratio of each effect can be adjusted separately.
The sound is sent to the effects for processing and then to a two-band parametric EQ with bass and treble adjustment to define the overall character of the sound itself. In this way, with microKORG 2 White it is possible to perform Complete Performance without needing a mixer or external effects unit.
The iconic design of the original microKORG has been updated with a modern look. The basic chassis design, control panel layout, green screen printing, knob shape, and other typical features of the Vintage microKORG have been retained, but the overall aesthetic has been updated to achieve a more modern visual result.
The bright new 2.8'' color display is centrally located, while the entire control panel is slightly recessed to improve programming ergonomics. The cabinet is painted with a refined metallic tint while the side panels are covered with a stone-grained black finish. Sturdy materials and quality finishes ensure reliability and durability of this instrument.
On microKORG 2 White, the spacing ratio between the white and black keys has been further improved to make the small keybed even more playable.
Although equipped with "mini" keys on the keyboard of microKORG 2 Black, it is possible to easily play fast musical phrases, chords, even with techniques such as glissando. The keyboard also has two dedicated buttons for octave shifting (Octave Shift Up/Down), a function that actually expands its range by three octaves, thus allowing the performer more expressive possibilities. microKORG 2 White is lightweight and easy to carry, being 54.2 cm wide and weighing only 2.1 kg (without batteries and microphone).
The instrument can be powered via the included AC adapter, alternatively via six AA batteries, thus making it possible to really play it anywhere.
