Galaxy 32 Synergy Core now Atmos ready!

Galaxy 32 Synergy Core is а multi-channel audio interface and high-end AD/DA converter for professional recording studios and high-profile production facilities.

The already wide capabilities of this device have now been extended with full support for Immersive Audio and to Dolby Atmos.

The exciting new functionality is accessible via a dedicated tab of the Galaxy 32 Synergy Core’s software control panel. It provides monitoring control functionality and speaker calibration processing for up to 16 channels of surround or immersive audio.

Formats from stereo up to 9.1.6 Dolby Atmos are supported while maintaining customizability within the 16-channel limit for any unorthodox setup requirements. --------------

All 16 available monitoring channels support the following:

• 8-band EQ with cut and shelf filters for the low and high bands
• Level trim from –60dB to +16dB, with one decimal place accuracy available
• Up to 100ms delay for calibration purposes, with one decimal place accuracy available (0.6ms minimum inherent system latency)
• Phase invert
• Processing and crossover bypass buttons; copy, paste and reset EQ buttons
• Global “lip-sync” delay for the main output, with up to 100ms available with one decimal place accuracy as well
• Bass management functionality via a dedicated mixer window, providing cutoff frequency, filter type (Butterworth or Linkwitz-Riley), filter order and bypass for the high-pass and low-pass crossover filters.
• Per-channel level controls for sending low-passed signals to the LFE channel are available, with mute and solo functionality.

The interface builds upon Antelope Audio’s award-winning Orion 32 line - bringing 32 channels of analog I/O, industry-standard HDX, Thunderbolt and Dante digital connectivity and Synergy Core processing to a 1U rack-mountable chassis. ----------
