The Nugen Audio Halo Downmix 3D extension is a Dolby Atmos extension module for owners of the Halo Downmix standard edition. Halo Downmix is a decisive downmix tool enabling precise surround balancing, mix monitoring and stereo fold-down with 3D surround compatibility. Produce high-quality downmixes and enhance the compatibility of your surround mixes with ease, and without compromise. Packaged in an intuitive interface, Halo Downmix is the ideal tool to supplement any surround workflow. The 3D extension option adds the ability to downmix from 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos bed tracks.

Mitigate the issues involved with standard downmix coefficients, and produce a more coherent stereo mix with Halo Downmix. Halo Downmix controls excessive diffuse sounds from artificial reverb and removes delay artefacts from the real channels automatically, so it's easier than ever to produce expert surround-to-stereo mixes.

Featuring comprehensive surround-to-surround fine-tuning, adjust existing 5.1 or 7.1 mixes. Command individual channels and the balance between direct/diffuse sound, or re-balance surround audio where access to the original mix is impossible.
