The Mutant Brain is the central nervous system that connects your modular analog eurorack system to MIDI equipment, especially for percussion, polyphonic notes, and synchronization tasks! It includes 16 compatible eurorack outputs in a small, super-affordable 8 HP package.

The 4 CV outputs and 12 Gate/Trig outputs are all universally reconfigurable. Triggers, gates, clock divisions and sync signals, polyphonic keyboard, velocity, sequencer transport, LFO: you name it!

Configuring your patch is easy: just assign each output as you prefer in the Mutant Brain Surgery configuration utility, then send the MIDI SysEx file to the module and forget about it-Mutant Brain remembers everything for you.

A convenient download package of pre-configured, ready-to-use Mutant Brain patches for select sequencing devices and drum machines on the market today is provided, easily turning those sequencers and drum machines into a modular control center!

Designed with live and studio performance in mind, Mutant Brain eliminates wasted panel space and complex menu-diving interfaces, freeing you from the limited "self-learning" type MIDI interface.

A machine-learning interface sometimes doesn't work well with the unlimited combinations of different equipment configurations that today's modular artists play live with.
