AMS Neve Genesys G3D represents a milestone in the world of consoles, being the first hardware and software platform capable of allowing innovative three-dimensional analog mixing using exclusively the controls and options present on the console.

This innovative platform uniquely integrates support for Dolby Atmos mixing directly onto the console, thus opening the door to new possibilities in your workflow. With the Genesys G3D, users can record, overdub and mix seamlessly in both stereo and Dolby Atmos, making the most of available hardware.

AMS Neve and the Dolby team worked closely to develop an intuitive and effective control system, which allows you to use the Genesys' analog channel features, including equalizers, dynamics processors, external connections and analog fader movements, in a three-dimensional context.

To give studios maximum versatility, the Neve G3D system offers touch-sensitive encoders for automating object placement, a 3D monitor dimming mode, and a set of specially designed switches to simplify control of the Dolby Atmos Renderer. Furthermore, binaural monitoring via headphones is introduced, which allows you to have an immersive listening experience directly from the console.

The Neve Genesys G3D fully supports Dolby Atmos speaker configurations of 7.1.4, 9.1.4 and 9.1.6, and includes an integrated intuitive speaker control system that is further improved and optimized thanks to the new 64-bit operating system. Additionally, using the new GenesysControl plugin, you can automate object positions and parameters directly from your DAW timeline. The important role played by the external StarNet ADA16, which acts as the main DA converter for the Atmos speaker outputs, ensures impeccable audio quality.

The Neve Genesys G3D console features a DAW controller with an OSX and Windows compatible touchscreen, taking visual and tactile control to a new level. With a simple plug-and-play connection, the Neve Genesys G3D touchscreen offers a faster, more intuitive and elegant way to control stereo or Dolby Atmos sessions, surpassing the traditional use of a mouse.

This console features fully configurable, motorized faders that offer precise, customizable control. When recording, you can set faders to control the analog channel strips, and when mixing, you can switch to DAW mode and use the motorized faders to directly control automations on your favorite workstation.

Despite its modern conception optimized to fully support the latest Dolby Atmos immersive mixing technologies, Neve Genesys G3D remains faithful to the classic vintage Neve sound thanks to channel strips that include the classic Neve 1073 preamplifier, loved by generations of engineers, producers and musicians. The EQ section consists of a 4-band equalizer with the same filter found in the 88RS consoles, and also offers the possibility of installing the real Neve 1084 EQ. The dynamics section is an additional option and includes a traditional Neve VCA. Both EQ and dynamics are fully automated and allow you to save and recall settings.
The result is a modern analog console with maximum I/O flexibility, innovative integrated Dolby Atmos mixing support and the magical classic Neve sound.
