Highly coveted by recording studios around the world for its significant contributions to numerous hit records, the FAIRCHILD 670 is known for its broad ability to generate a variety of compression effects, from soft and transparent to intense and very pronounced. Unlike other 670 reissues, the new FAIRCHILD 670 is faithful to the original. Uses the same valves and transformers built to original specifications. The architecture, point-to-point welding and unmistakable design make this compressor the only authentic reproduction of the original 670. Thanks to the two-channel design and unique compression characteristics, the FAIRCHILD 670 is able to add warmth, depth and character to any audio signal. • 2 Measuring Switches: Can work in three modes to measure the plate current of the control tube or act as a limiting indicator.
• Mode Switch: Has AB positions for two independent limiters and a Vertical-Lateral position for matrix in/out on both sides, limiting the action vertically/laterally.
