Il Quantum clocking è lo stesso usato nel modello Avocet IIA DAC. Nel modello HEDD Quantum, il clocking sub ps jitter è applicato sia all’AD che al DA. Questo permette di ottenere un’ottima immagine del segnale, un suono 3D molto aperto ed una risposta precisa. Inoltre, sono stati aggiunti in ingresso e uscita ottici. HEDD Quantum come master clock Le 6 uscite WC permettono l’uso dell’apparecchio come master clock contemporaneamente alle funzioni AD e DA. Oltre a AD, DA, Clocking, I/O e uscite WC. HEDD Quantum conserva l’emulazione DSP delle valvole triodo pentodo e Tape. Le modalità di funzionamento permettono l’uso contemporaneo di DA e AD a diverse frequenze di campionamento. In configurazione DIGI l’unità utilizza l’ingresso digitale da una delle tre sorgenti e la indirizza su tutte le tre uscite digitali oltre a quella analogica. In modali ANA l’ingresso analogico viene indirizzato sulle tre uscite digitali e su quella analogica. Il valore Dither è generato analogicamente e selezionabile per 16 o 20 bit.
