Il Dual Looping Delay (DLD), progettato da 4ms e Gary Hall, è un processore audio avanzato per la sintesi creativa. Non un nastro o un'emulazione analogica, ma un moderno ritardo digitale cristallino, il DLD combina caratteristiche di ritardo, looping e sincronizzazione a tenuta di campione per l'acquisizione e la modifica del suono potente e dinamica. Il DLD è progettato per integrarsi perfettamente con la base dei tempi modulare e i dispositivi di sequenziamento come il Quad Clock Distributor (QCD) da 4 ms, ecc. Nuove funzionalità nella versione firmware 5:

• Ping Lock per ogni canale
• Modalità Quantized Inf/Rev/Time Change
• Audio a 24 bit (selezionabile con un ponticello)
• Reverse e Inf Hold possono essere attivati con gate o trigger
• La manopola Delay Feed può essere selezionata come conicità audio o lineare
• La corrente continua in fuga con impostazioni di feedback elevate (ad es. ritardi di risonanza) viene eliminata
• Il silenziamento automatico ora ha un attacco e un decadimento di 1 ms
• Il tempo di dissolvenza incrociata (CFT) per le giunzioni è ora variabile (impostato in System Mode da 0ms a 500ms)

  • Optional jumper to choose DC or AC coupling on input.
• Audio Outputs:
  • 0Hz (DC) to 24kHz with maximum -1.7dB difference between input and output (see technical specification section)
  • +10.5V to -10.5V maximum output
  • Soft limiting compression allows for saturation before clipping (can be disabled)
• Clock outputs (Main, Loop A, Loop B):
  • 0V to 8.2V
  • +/- 2.4us maximum jitter (i.e. 0.001% at 120 BPM)
  • Rise or Fall time: <1us
  • Pulse Width (Trigger mode) 22ms
  • Gate mode 50% (square wave)
  • At clock speeds faster than 22Hz, the clock output becomes 50% duty cycle
