The Soundtoys Devil-Loc Deluxe 5 is an audio level destroyer plug-in, emulating a vintage hardware compressor originally used for public service announcements. The unique blend of audio-levelling and excess saturation and distortion has lead to this unit being used by industry professionals to create massive, punchy and gritty drum tones and vocal sounds and with Devil-Loc Deluxe, 5 Digital Delivery, all of the character and 'mojo' from the hardware counterpart has been retained and brought to life through immaculate, proprietary modelling techniques.

Not only does it capture the character and response of the original hardware unit it's modelled from, but Devil-Loc Deluxe, Digital Delivery expands on the functionality to become a musical, studio-friendly tool. Giving you complete control of your sound, Devil-Loc Deluxe 5 gives you the ability to process your signal in parallel with the onboard mix knob, as well as being able to adjust the overall character and tone of your sound with the darkness knob whereby you smoothen out the harsh upper harmonics that occur when you drive Devil-Loc to the maximum. The crush and crunch dials add full control over the compression and saturation characteristics to create exactly the sound you need for any situation or sound source.
